As an avid sub 3hrs marathoner, I have spent more than 10 years exploring my body in order to achieve my full potential. This journey has taught me a lot in terms of nutrition and fitness and now it is time to share this knowledge with you. I want to help you reach your full potential as well. Our bodies are incredible machines and we are all able to do incredible things. I am here to help you uncover the best version of yourself.

My favorite thing about what I do is seeing how people transform both mentally and physically when they incorporate exercise and healthy nutrition into their lifestyle. I focus on creating a program uniquely for you. Every meal will fit into your daily routine– This is not a diet or a short-term-fix, this will become your new, healthy lifestyle. 

My cooking story.

Never in a million years did I picture myself writing a recipe book. I am by no means a chef or a baker. The main reason I started cooking was because I wanted to cook for my husband and I healthier (and more affordable) meals. Plus, I just got tired of seeing how many unnecessary, processed ingredients were in every packaged meal. 

Our bodies are incredible. They are machines. It is up to us to fuel it properly in order for us to realize its true potential. If you pour cheap fuel in a car, it will eventually give up on you. If you pour the best quality fuel, just watch it go! It’s like magic. Same happens to our bodies. If fueled correctly, you will tap into your maximum performance. You will feel energized, you will look radiant, and you will have the courage and the confidence to achieve what you once thought was unimaginable. 

As an avid marathon runner, I have a huge respect and admiration for my body. My body is my home. It’s truly the only place I will live forever. I have always avoided processed foods and added sugars. I didn’t eat desserts for the longest time because most of  their ingredients were just garbage. You can’t even pronounce most of them. Don’t get me wrong: I love a good, gooey dark chocolate brownie, or a moist carrot cake, but I love my body and my running goals more than the temptation of these fake ingredients. But… What if we learn to make our own meals and our very own modifications to our favorite meals and desserts using natural ingredients, no added sugar, and gluten free? 

Thus, my quest for healthy eating started. I would be lying if I said it was smooth sailing. Finding healthy modifications to my favorite meals and desserts was not easy. I’ve tossed more than one batch of cookies, brownies, and even full cakes into the garbage. But, Wow! When I nail a recipe it’s such a rewarding feeling! The fact that I was indeed able to replicate the flavor of my favorite desserts using guilt-free ingredients was almost as rewarding as crossing the finish line 26.2 miles later! 

My hope with this website and my upcoming book you, too, realize that you don’t need to be a chef to be able to cook. Heck, you don’t even need to like the kitchen to be able to create some of the delicious recipes. You just need to believe in yourself, take the chance and prove yourself wrong. Let this book be the start of a new adventure. My biggest goal with this is for you to realize how powerful you are. You truly have the power to achieve everything you put your mind to. Don’t be afraid of failing. Failing is part of what eventually will be part of your success. Just like thrown away cookie batches turned into this book!
